Spend An Evening with the Wyoming State Museum

The Wyoming State Museum is currently seeking presenters for the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 Thursday Night Lecture Series, If you are interested in presenting, or know someone who should, click here for the general guidelines as well as the proposal form. Thursday Night Lecture Series
All presentations are held the second Thursday of each month, September – May, at 7:00 p.m. at the Wyoming State Museum, located in the Barrett Building, 2301 Central Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming. Next Museum Event

Family Days - Celebrating Shakespeare

Families are invited to join the Wyoming State Museum anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. as they celebrate Shakespeare and learn about the “First Folio! The Book that Gave Us Shakespeare, on tour from the Folger Shakespeare Library.” Participants will learn about Shakespeare and his plays, make their folios, create marbled paper, and craft Elizabethan ruffs. The Laramie County Library will also be presenting a special Storytime at 10:15. Family Days is a FREE program that provides children and their families with fun and educational opportunities to explore Wyoming’s natural and cultural resources.
