Christmas decorations through the decades will be the inspiration for the next Wyoming State Museum Family Days program, Saturday, December 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Families are encouraged to join the Museum to learn about and create a variety of Christmas ornaments that have been popular at various times since about 1850. Some of the decorations will include: tin foil ornaments from 1850 and 1960; blown glass ornaments from the 1920s and 30s; and pine cone ornaments from the early 1900s.

Participants are invited to stop by anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to explore the Museum and participate in the Family Days program.

Family Days is a free program of the Wyoming State Museum, which provides children and their families with fun and educational opportunities to explore Wyoming’s natural and cultural resources.

The program is held the first Saturday of the month, September through May, at the Wyoming State Museum. Each month’s program has a different theme.
