Speaker Explores Hidden Secrets of Pole Mountain and Vedauwoo
The Wyoming State Museum kicks off the 2013 Spring Lecture Series with Roger Ludwig, local psychotherapist and outdoor enthusiast, as he uncovers the remains of the fascinating history of the Vedauwoo and the Pole Mountain area.

The lecture begins at 7 p.m., January 10 in the State Museum Multi-Purpose Room. The event is free and open to the public.

Ludwig’s presentation of “A Treasure Hunt for the Weird and Wonderful at Pole Mountain and Vedauwoo” will share sites he has stumbled upon that shed light on this unique area’s military, mining, ranching, Civilian Conservation Corps, and entertainment history. Ludwig’s presentation features slides, discussion and maps that will help others with their own adventures.

The Wyoming State Museum is located in the Barrett Building, 2301 Central Avenue in Cheyenne. For more information about this and other State Museum programs, please call (307) 777-7022
